SKILLS TO RENT:
Every person must be able to swim in deep water continuously for at least 15 minutes.
The skipper must have the adequate experience on the boot/board to hire. The list of maneuvers we expect the boat skipper to be able to perform safely in winds up to 4 Bft 4/20 knots can be found for each individual boat type under the "Fleet" section (see link below).
The skipper must have the appropiate sailing/surfing knowledge for the expected wind and weather conditions.
RULES WHILE RENTING:
The sailing area, which are also an important official requirement, must be followed for safety reasons at all times (see map below).
No consumption of alcohol while sailing or surfing.
The participants will be held liable for willful and grossly negligent damage to the sailing/surfing material, as well as for damage caused by disregarding the instructions of the sailing/surfing instructor.
LIFE JACKET - WETSUIT - SHOES
Life jackets and approriate footwear must be worn while sailing/surfing.
Wearing a wetsuit is mandatory in water temperatures below 20ºC (except for keelboats). Wetsuits can be rented from us for a small fee.
Wearing a life jacket is mandatory on all capsizable boats and surfboards. On non-capsizable boats, it is mandatory to have a life jacket with you. The life jacket is included in the rental price.
Neoprene shoes, athletic shoes, or sneakers are mandatory due to the risk of injury. Neoprene shoes can be rented from us for a small fee.
PAYMENT & DEPOSIT
The rental fee and the deposit must be paid in advance directly at the rental station.
The deposit refund conditions are:
The boat / board is returned on time and without damage caused by the person renting.
The boat / board remains within the indicated sailing area (see map below).
No rescue or assistance due to lack of adequate experience or skills is required.
