15 years of intensive regatta activities brought home several national and international trophies. Studying for a “serious job” could only be completed in Kiel on the Baltic Sea. Windsurfing quickly became a new passion there.
Living and sailing on the Baltic Sea led to extensive experience as a skipper/helmsman on keelboats from the classic Folkeboat to more modern, faster yachts such as the X-99 and X-41.
Trend sports such as kite surfing, SUP and wing foiling were also enthusiastically tried out and perfected.
In 2019, the long-standing office job was swapped in order to be able to pass on the enthusiasm for water sports to aspiring water sports fanatics on a professional basis.
Work as a water sports instructor in Cyprus, Fuerteventura, Cape Verde, Greece and on the German North Sea led to Sail & Surf in Port de Pollenca in October 2023.
